WHAT IS A CV OR CURRICULUM VITAE?

As such, these documents have their greatest utility in the pursuit of a job in academia or research. Some industries in which CVs are common: medicine, law, education, and the sciences. In addition to the basics, a CV includes research and teaching experience, publications, grants and fellowships, professional associations and licenses, awards and other information relevant to the position you are applying for. While a resume is normally limited to 1- 2 pages, a CV is usually multiple pages in length especially as one advances in their career.
WHAT IS A TEXT OR ASCII RESUME?
This version has minimal formatting so you can easily input info from your resume into online job applications with fewer issues. Just cut and paste.
